Massachusetts celebrates Eid and Muslim Public Servants

Muslim Americans in Public Service thanks the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for commemorating Eid Al Fitr at the State House today and for honoring the Massachusetts Muslim American community and the dedicated Muslim American public servants in particular.

MAPS Massachusetts President Sofia-Ayan Abdi and Vice President Hodan Hashi spoke on behalf of the organization at the annual Eid celebration, and they and other public servants were recognized by State Senator Liz Miranda and Governor Maura Healey for their leadership in the Commonwealth and dedication to the Muslim community in Massachusetts.
